About

Among my potted plants

This blog is part gardening show and tell, part spiritual journal, blending the process of gardening, the pleasures of growing our own food, the setbacks, disappointments and obstacles, with the spiritual journey and reflections of myself as a gardener and mother.

I am a Suburban vegetable gardener and mother in Colorado. Living proof that you don’t need fancy gadgets and expensive toys to enjoy gardening. Really, to parent and to grow, all you need is love… and a sprinkle of patience.

How I love seeing beautiful young women (and moms) like you falling into the garden and the life of crime and joy gardening brings! Glad you liked my post and hope you will give me criticism, feedback and a few good tips you’ve learned…
